At Ashes by Sea, we are here to guide and support you during a difficult time. With extensive experience in scattering ashes at sea, we are committed to providing a peaceful, respectful, and dignified farewell for your loved one.
A sea scattering offers a meaningful way to celebrate a life, creating a calm and private setting where family and friends can feel a deep sense of connection. We are dedicated to helping you arrange a farewell that reflects the significance of this moment, with care, sensitivity, and respect for the grieving process.
Our service begins by meeting you and your party at Coal Harbour in Dún Laoghaire. From there, we travel together into Dublin Bay, where, at your chosen location, you can take your time to hold a formal or informal memorial. When you are ready, your loved one’s ashes are gently scattered at sea before we return to shore.
From there, we will board our boats and make our way out to Dublin Bay. When we reach your chosen location, the boat will stop and the memorial service (formal or informal) will be conducted at your own pace.
Your loved ones ashes will then be gently scattered into the sea. Once you are ready to return, the boat will head back to Dun Laoghaire Harbour where everyone will disembark.
